As a specialized and reliable partner Westmark offers a wide range of clever and practical kitchen gadgets and household articles today.

From traditional reasons and as we are so good at that, we produce most of our products here, in Elspe (100 km east of Cologne). Here, a team of long-year employees with a lot of experience in the plastic and metal production arranges that a huge quantity of reliable products is provided for sales every day. To achieve this reliability, we need the experience of every single of our 80 employees in our location in Elspe and the small team of 10 specialists who manufacture the high-quality corkscrews, nutcrackers and tin openers of the MONOPOL range in our site in Wittelsberg.

Cork Screw
A corkscrew has a “soul” when the spiral inside it is turned around an imaginary axis. You look into the middle of a hollow space. This design ensures not only that a hole is simply bored into the cork that may possibly cause it to disintegrate but also that the cork is completely removed when taken out.

Monopol Westmark Bell Corkscrew Bacchus

Double spindle corkscrew. A further variation is the double-spindle-corkscrew, which had already been patented in England at the beginning of the 19th century. Here the cork is smoothly pulled out of the bottle by the interesting interaction of the two spindles. Application: at the start the inner thread is turned out and is then drilled into the cork with a clock-wise turn. The continuous movement is pulling the cork automatically out of the bottle. Especially suitable for opening old bottles with brittle corks is the twin prong cork puller, because it does not puncture the cork, limiting thus the likelihood of a brittle cork crumbling into the wine.
